Dr. Heath’s goal is to treat his patients like an extension of his own family. His fun personality and relaxed style provide a comfortable dental experience for both children and adults.
Originally from a small town in West Texas, Dr. Heath graduated Magna Cum Laude from Abilene Christian University with a degree in biology and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery on a Health Professions Military Scholarship from the prestigious Baylor College of Dentistry. As a Captain in the United States Air Force, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Scott Air Force Base outside St. Louis, and practiced for three years as a general dentist at Misawa AB, Japan, including a one-year pediatric dentistry rotation. Major Copeland currently serves as a USAF Reservist for the 302ASTS out of Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs.
Dr. Heath has completed more than 600 hours of continuing education, with more than 100 of those in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Heath loves skiing, hiking, traveling, and of course, spending time with his wife Dr. Amy and their daughter, Channing.
